Today we have decided to do a post about the importance of relaxation. Many people don't understand why it is so important to relax and de-stress after a long hard day at work/ school or after a stressful event.
So how and why is it so good for our bodies to relax:
- Improves mental health
- decreases your chances of getting the cold
- increases creativity
- helps increase concentration (so you will do a better job of what your doing)
- overall sleep will be a better quality
As you can see, there is five very good reasons as to why you should relax. There are also other health benefits but these were just a few that stood out to us.
If you take five or ten minutes out of your day to relax you will feel much better in the long term both physically and mentally.

Ways to relax and take time for yourself:
- long baths
- drinking chamomile tea
- spraying your pillows with a lavender spray/ oil
- reading a book
- listening to music
